Florida woman accused of filming herself 'performing sexual acts' on toddler was previously in polyamorous relationship with 3 accused pedophiles

A 27-year-old woman in Florida was arrested this week for allegedly filming herself performing “sexual acts” on a toddler. Alexis S. Carrol was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with one count of capital sexual assault — sexual battery by a person over 18 against a victim under age 12, records reviewed by Law&Crime show.

ARRESTED FOR CAPITAL SEXUAL BATTERY ON A TODDLER: Ocala Police Detective Boyer arrested Alexis S. Carrol, 27, for capital sexual battery on a child under 12.
On April 4, Detective Boyer responded to Unity House Apartments to assist the Department of Children and Families with a child sex investigation. DCF received a tip that Carrol performed sexual acts on a toddler and there is an alleged video of the incident. Due to the nature of the arrest, limited information can be shared, however, Detective Boyer conducted his investigation and determined there was sufficient probable cause to arrest Carrol for the charge.
Alexis Carrol came to the attention of law enforcement as a result of a prior, separate child sexual battery investigation that took place in March 2022, leading to the arrests of Zachary Turpin, Annabelle Lagiglia, and Kendra Long. Carrol was living with the three individuals in the same house at the time of their arrests.
We take crimes against children very seriously and are committed to investigating all such reports and holding offenders accountable for their actions. We will do everything in our power to provide support for victims and bring those who commit heinous acts like this to justice.

Polyamorous couple arrested in child sex abuse case

28-year-old Zachary Turpin and two of his girlfriends, Annabelle and Kendra, were arrested on charges of Capital Sexual Battery of a child.

“We received a report from DCF about some sexual abuse that happened within the family,” Detective Austin Ridge said.

On Feb. 4, Ocala Police began their investigation after the Department of Children and Families interviewed the victim.

The 9-year-old girl told investigators the abuse had been going on since she was 8.

The victim lives with her grandmother, who is trying to get custody of her. Police officials said they are not confirming the relationship between the victim and the adults in custody at this time.

According to the police report, the child told the DCF investigator, “[Zach] has sex with me every time I go down there.”

She also explained that Annabelle and Kendra would molest her as well.


Turpin, Kendra, Annabelle, and a third girlfriend Alexis would use dog collars and other sex toys in addition to drugs.

According to court records, Turpin is facing charges of possession of fentanyl, and alprazolam.

The police report states, “There was an abundance of sexual related toys and property, which appears to be excessive for recreational use between partners.”

The girl said all three women would walk around the house naked.

Alexis was not arrested.

“She was also in a relationship with Zachary, along with Kendra and Annabelle, but there were no allegations made against her,” Ridge said.

On Wednesday police responded to the home on NE 22nd St. with a warrant.

“She is safe. We have offered services. I can’t say whether she’s received any at this time or not but the offer is out there to her and her family,” Ridge said.

Another man who was the live-in nanny and took care of two other children was also not arrested in this case. Detectives removed the two 3-year-olds from the home.

Thank you for the link. I did a quick search trying to find the Unity House Apts on NE 22nd St... not having much luck. I did find some info on a Unity House Rehab living but it may be something totally different. ??
