Signs line businesses on U.S. 17/92 in DeBary, as family members frantically post flyers in search of 27-year-old Ashley Hoffman.
"Did somebody hurt her? Did she go out to a bar? Did somebody put something in her drink? Was she passed out?" asks Ashley's biological mother, Penny Goforth.
Volusia County investigators say she disappeared in the evening hours of Sunday August 20th.
She's 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds, and drives a 2007 White Ford Taurus.
Her family says she disappeared after celebrating her daughter's second birthday.
"Never came back home. Her phone is off. Can't find her car. And she doesn't have her insulin and this is not like her." Goforth tells Fox 35.
Penny Goforth goes on to say that Ashley and her daughter, Alexis, live with Ashley's adoptive mother.
After the family celebration, Penny says Ashley dropped off Alexis at her adoptive mother's home and said she was going out to play pool.
Investigators say Ashley has no history of mental illness.
