Aside from the obvious horror of this event, what struck me was how rough this neighborhood seems. The reaction to a kid crying for help and bleeding from a gunshot seemed totally unemotional. No one there to hold him or help stop the bleeding while waiting for EMTs :/

Didn't drop their bikes or put out a ciggie.

That's cold.
