I live in the Melbourne /Palm Bay area of Florida since 2002. I lived in the Palm Bay area where she disappeared that night.
Two days ago, a drone flying over the Brookside development in Bayside Lakes Palm Bay spotted a submerged vehicle in a retention pond with remains in it.
The only thing said about the find was authorities think the remains belong to an old unsolved case.
At this point this is the only info.that has been put out. Hopefully we have found Brandy and her family can have closure .
we have several psychics giving us clues where to search. we have a new psychic that had that pond on one of our areas to search. we did not make it there this season but we did see it was a man who drove into the pond in his car missing since 2009 ...

Bumping for Brandy. The last person she spoke with on the phone knows what happened to her.

Police, along with a dozen or so forensic anthropology students from Florida Gulf Coast University, are working at the (finally) drained pond where Brandy's truck was found hours after she went missing.

The L-shaped pond, near Eastern Florida State College's Palm Bay campus, was only partially drained and searched in the days following the truck's discovery in August 2006. Brandy's blood was found in the truck but there was no sign of her.

Other items from Brandy's truck, like her fire radio, medical bag and personal firearm, have never been discovered.

It was the man she had an affair with. He was married and his wife found out about the affair and verbally attacked Brandy in public just a few weeks before she disappeared. I believe that they both were involved in this and they have protected each other thus far. MOO

All police should do is search RR car, property etc and their phones ( what was last location that day).
If they killed her they probably used their cars so some dna must be there.

Its weird they never investigated Raymond and wife properly.

"The Palm Bay Police Department conducted an extensive two-day search this week for Brandy Hall, a Malabar firefighter who disappeared nearly 20 years ago. Investigators identified a new area of interest based on information recently obtained by detectives."
MSN

Brandy's story is the subject of season three of a podcast by Florida Today: 'Murder on the Space Coast'. I have not listened to the podcast but plan to download and listen this weekend.

FWIW, I think the man she was having an affair with is involved, JMO.

I feel like this happens when a marriage falls apart and loyalty breaks or someone new is elected and loyalty surges.

Investigators noted that they are now processing a surge of information from the public.

Here’s an alternate outlet with same basic information.

(Paraphrasing parts of article) A fresh look from detectives prompted interviews which led to an area of interest. A search was held the past 2 days and now authorities are dealing with a surge of information from the public. Brandy not yet located but the search is still active.

Over the years, tips have come in, but they haven’t led to Hall. Now, detectives say a recent re-examination of the case and new interviews have uncovered fresh information pointing to an undisclosed area of interest. That location was searched twice this week.

Police say Hall has not yet been located, but the investigation remains active.

In a statement to Channel 9, Hall’s daughter Taylor, who was just 10 years old when her mother disappeared said she’ll keep pushing for answers. She also told us, “Even though this specific tip did not lead to finding my mom’s remains, I still stand by that feeling,” she wrote. “Something about this time, and the team now working her case, feels different. I truly believe we are finally moving in the right direction toward finding my mom’s remains and holding everyone involved in her murder accountable.”
