This makes my blood boil. WTH is wrong with this judge and prosecution?

According to an arrest affidavit reviewed by WKMG, the victim brought the incident to his parents attention when he told them, "Mr. Jay puts my penis in his mouth at nap time.”

Other parents later came forward claiming Hamilton had targeted their children, as well.

Hamilton’s record shows a prior conviction in Virginia and the state believes the daycare didn’t do enough to his background, according to WESH.

I do not understand how this happens time and time again. Can anyone make it make sense? I can’t.

It would be one thing if this happened occasionally. Terrible, but understandable if on occasion one or two of these monsters got away with their crimes bc of a shady judge. But this happens day in and day out, even with the most vile of suspects. How does a judge listen to a case against a child and deem the perpetrator safe in any shape or form to live outside of a jail cell? How do we stop the madness?!

No wonder he was smiling. Free to do it again and again. How disgusting.

Prior offense but the daycare hired him anyway. As a parent, you almost have to run a background check on everyone who works at these facilities! This is why my kids dad and I worked opposite shifts so we didn't have to deal with daycare and babysitters. he will get what is coming to him. I have to believe that.

What a joke...

I have some thoughts about this piece of human garbage and the judge, but cannot share them here.

On matters like this, that there is no grey area, something needs to be done.. people who i've caught shop lifting for a third time get longer sentences than this.. true definition of outraged as it should be described...

Sounds like he got off in a plea bargain deal. Apparently, prosecutors have a difficult time getting convictions when the case hinges on the testimony of small/toddler children.

Every daycare center needs to have continuous video surveillance and regular monitoring of same. It may be the only way to ensure offenders are convicted in court.

So at least he was required to register as a sex offender. Big deal!
Does he do the registering or does the court when the case is over? What happens if he moves to another state and doesn't bother to register?

I was able to find this site (NSOPW) which is suppose to be a nationwide sex offender registry. When I tried it and put his name in, he popped right on up. I clicked on his name and it gave more info from the Florida registry but I didn't see anything about the Virginia offense. I don't know if it just keeps records on the latest offense and drops the older ones or his other offense wasn't reported by him or the court. I don't know how the info is gathered? Is anyone familiar with this site? Maybe someone can enter another known offender and see what pops up? I drew a blank...
I admit I did not read all the instructions before hand.
