Belleview police search for missing woman after monthlong disappearance

Police say Brazwell’s family is concerned for her well-being because they have not seen her since July 11.

Christy Louise Brazwell, 35, was last seen around 8 p.m. riding a bicycle through the parking lot of Motel 728 on Southeast Abshier Boulevard in Belleview.

A Marion County woman who was last seen leaving a local motel has not been heard from or seen by family since July.

Her sister, Katie, has regularly shared posts through social media to ask the public for help. Brazwell’s birthday was on Thursday, December 12.

0n 03/16/2020 the State of Florida filed a Criminal lawsuit against Christy Louise Brazwell in Escambia County Courts, Escambia, Florida. STATE OF FLORIDA vs. BRAZWELL, CHRISTY LOUISE . The case status is Disposed - Other Disposed. As part of the ruling Ms. Brazwell had her driving privileges suspended in 2022 and the case has since gone to collections. To get the exact charges you have to write the court and request or pay a monthly fee to Unicourt to subscribe (I don't) BUT I did find a newspaper article about her arrest in Escambia County the following year. Charges in that case were property damage-criminal mischief, three counts of burglary, trespassing, two counts of larceny.
