''The mom with multiple sclerosis (MS) was found down the hall in a bathroom tub. Due to limited mobility, Blackburn could not defend herself against her assailant. She was submerged and strangled. Marissa noticed the back slider, which was usually barred shut with a wooden stick, was unlocked and open.

"Whoever went into that apartment and hurt Danielle, Danielle knew them," Harasym said.''

Shortly after graduating High School she was stricken with multiple sclerosis and through her illness she maintained her will and love for life. Danielle is now over suffering from her disease and has gone home to be an angel with Jesus and her other family.

Danielle is survived by her precious daughter Marissa, her loving Mom and Dad, Don and Debbie, two loving brothers Dana and Darin, and loving sister Amy, dearest grandmother Phyllis and grandpa Buddy, loving sister in law Crysten and brother in law Rich and many other family and friends.

She was a victim of murder.''
