Deputies searching for missing Okeechobee man

The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office says 82-year-old Donald Keith Picker left his residence Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. headed for a doctor's appointment but never arrived.

Mr. Picker is possibly experiencing the first stages of dementia.

His vehicle is a 1997 4-door Buick sedan with Florida tag #003NEG.

For all who read this and who have elderly relatives, tell them that if they get lost or confused to go to a McDonald's (they is one on every corner it seems) until they remember what they are doing and if they don't, there are workers there to help them. Yes, they can remember McDonald's for some reason.
