Mitchell Patch, 34, was leaving the Wicked Barley Brewing Co. carrying son Everett while attempting to cross Baymeadows Road at about 8:30 p.m. on May 16 when they were struck by a Honda Civic, according to the Sheriff's Office. They were killed and the driver, 24-year-old Logan Fletcher Park, was transported to a hospital where his blood-alcohol level was drawn. The results showed a level of .107, well above the legal limit of .08 to drive in Florida.

So he waited until there was a warrant 6 months later. Why was he let go after his BAC was so high?!

“Park turned himself over to authorities on Nov. 9 after a warrant was obtained in the investigation, the Sheriff's Office said.”
