Woman's body found in East Manatee County

The body was found at the 7000 block of 13th Ave E. in an open field.

Detectives say the deceased is a white female and they are not sure how she got there. Detectives say they believe she died before being placed there by another person.

Update: 47-year-old woman found dead in East Manatee County

Deputies have identified the body as 47-year-old Katherin Jiles. The autopsy conducted shows she died of a possible drug overdoes.
