Deputies searching for Dominican Republic teen missing in Fort Myers -

Lee County deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a 19-year-old girl. According to a report, Edili Fernandez-Baptista was last seen leaving the Suburban Hotle located at the 10000 block of Metro Parkway in Fort Myers on Wednesday evening at around 8:40 p.m. Fernandez-Baptista is visiting Florida from the Dominican Republic and does not speak English. The group she traveled with is very concerned about her safety.

It seems what she's wearing in that picture is what she was wearing when she went missing. That's helpful!

She was last seen wearing a floral shirt with a pink hoodie and dark jean shorts.

Not really finding any new info, but completely pleasantly shocked with how many sites and articles have the story about Edili being missing out there. Far more than many other cases!

Hopefully they're equally getting them put out onto Spanish language news sources also, given she doesn't speak English and perhaps might try to seek help from someone she can communicate more easily with.
