MISSING CHILD: We need your help locating 7-year-old Emerson Felix, he has not been seen by his family since 6:45 p.m. Monday, October 14. He was last seen in the area of Flintshire Street, which is near Rio Grand Avenue and 40th Street.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light blue basketball shorts with a black stripe down the side and blue Puma slides.

There is concern for Emerson’s safety because of his age.

Please share, and if you see Emerson or know where he is, call 911 immediately.

UPDATE: We are devastated to inform you that our deputies have found Emerson Felix, deceased, in a body of water near his home where he was reported missing. Our detectives are still looking into how this tragedy occurred.
We mourn Emerson’s loss and extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, his classmates and all who love him
