"Sentimental ties to the beaches" doesn't sound good. I'm guessing there were some mental health warning signs.

I wonder if surveillance was done around the car before it was recovered, and if so, for how long.

Someone in Florida could be baker acted and no one would know. I’m not sure how long they keep you but I had a friend that was falsely baker acted by an ex girlfriend and I think he was gone about a month. That could be a possibility.

I wonder how do you get to this possibility?

Fredrick Huffman is now in NamUs.
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

First name is currently spelled "Fredrick" in NamUs.

Fred left home saying he was going to the bank and to run errands. Did not return. Reported missing to Atlanta PD on Oct 26 and they assigned a Report number. He texted me early the next morning and they traced the cell phone. Our automobile was found abandoned with his wallet and phone in Flagler Beach FL on Oct 29. Extensive search including helicopters, boats, and dogs found nothing.

I hope he is found safe soon. Wonder about the text message? I feel for his family.
