From the above link:

Margate Police arrested the girl's mother, 34-year-old Passha Davis, back on Oct. 17 for allegedly shoplifting at a Dollar Tree Store.

While Davis was in jail, Terrelonge's father, who lives in Central Florida, reported her missing.

But Davis bonded out of jail and now police and the FBI don't know where the mother and daughter are located.

And now:

Mother of missing 10-year-old South Florida girl arrested on child neglect charge

The mother of a 10-year-old girl who went missing from South Florida months ago has been arrested again as the search continues for the child, jail records showed.

Passha Bianca Davis, 34, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of child neglect without great bodily harm by Margate Police, Broward jail records showed.

Am I to understand that allegedly she doesn't know where the child is?" the judge asked.

"Your honor, what's understood is she hasn't said anything, it's not known if that's actually accurate, she's hasn't given any piece of information about the last time she saw the child, anything," a prosecutor replied

Surely the court has enough history of Moms erratic behavior and will place this child with the Aunt, or the bio Dad if he’s willing and able to care for her.

Gabby is old enough to make a phone call, likely knows how to get on the internet, maybe even email someone to get herself to safety. Not that it is her responsibility to do so, but maybe she has the wherewithal to pull it off subtly.

I'm very afraid for this little girl. I'm posting a couple of snippets from this article, but it is a very long article and it is worth reading the full article. It gives a detailed account of this child's life with her parents.

*****
The last she was seen – what police called “proof of life” – was June 21 at that Walmart in Hollywood.

That’s 118 days between the last sighting and the arrest.

*****
(Regarding the mother's current arrest)

She is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond, ordered by a judge who seemed incredulous when he read the charging document at her bond hearing Wednesday.

“Alright, hold on one second,” Judge Corey B. Friedman stated, pausing. “I mean, am I to understand that allegedly she doesn’t know where the child is?”

The prosecutor responded: “Your honor, what’s understood is she hasn’t said anything. It’s not known if that’s actually accurate. She hasn’t given any piece of information about the last time that she saw the child. Anything.”

“And despite different law enforcement agencies trying to find the child, nobody's able to find the child?” Friedman asked.

“Your honor, my understanding as of now, including the FBI, the child is still missing.”

Davis’s public defender said she denied the charges and will fight the allegations in court.

*****
One year before Davis was stopped and questioned for suspected shoplifting, Gabby’s aunt found her with Davis in an alley in the Broadview Park area of Broward County at 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 19, 2024. Gabby was asleep, lying on a blanket placed over a flattened cardboard box, with another thin blanket placed over her, her tennis shoes removed, sitting by her feet.

She took photos and called the Broward Sheriff’s Office and a case number was created; NBC6 is awaiting a response from BSO to a request for records of the encounter.

“Gabby is 10 years old, and I know that's the scary part,” she said. “Gabby has never been left alone with any blood relative, not her father or her grandmother or grandfather… Her mother does not trust Gabby with anyone.”

“She follows the child to the bathroom to brush her teeth, to shower, and to use the toilet. She does not allow Gabby to leave her sight ever.”

But she was nowhere in sight when Davis was arrested near that Dollar Tree.

That tells me that Gabby is more likely than not dead. If the mother is that over vigilant as a rule, and now the kid is nowhere to be found.

Agreed. I think she has Gabby stashed, in hiding, with someone. Hopefully a safe someone, not a creep with ulterior motives.

I think you misinterpreted what I said. I think she is dead. I would be glad if I am wrong.

I agree, I think there is very little likelihood she will be found alive.

All leads into finding Broward girl last seen in June ‘exhausted,’ detectives say

What most concerned law enforcement is that the “last proof of life” for the little girl was when she was seen leaving a Walmart in Hollywood on June 21, according to Davis’ arrest paperwork.

Broward County deputies questioned Davis while she was jailed and Davis denied knowing the child’s whereabouts and told investigators she thought Gabrielle was with her father, according to investigators

Gabby has lived with a mother with mental health issues for a while, she's probably learned much more than a 10 year old should about coping and survival. I think that if her Mom had just left her somewhere, Gabby would have gotten out, and sought help, I am afraid she's probably not alive at this point but SO hope I'm wrong.

Four months after a surveillance camera captured Passha Davis with her 10-year-old daughter at the checkout of a Hollywood Walmart, Davis was stopped and questioned last month by Margate Police investigating her for shoplifting from a Dollar Tree.

The 34-year-old homeless woman would not give police her name.

And she also withheld another important piece of information: she had a 10-year-old daughter, Gabrielle “Gabby” Terrelonge, who was not with her.

Ugh. The aunt and grandparents seem to have been very proactive in caring for Gabby, and the system IMO failed them.

Full press conference with Gabby's father:

*****************************************

The father of a missing 10-year-old girl, Gabrielle Terrelonge, spoke to news outlets on Wednesday about his missing daughter.

*****
WESH 2 was told officials would be giving an update, but no officials spoke on Wednesday when Gordon Terrelonge addressed news outlets.

The search for a missing 10-year-old girl has shifted primarily to the Central Florida area, with the girl’s father going along with police as they hunt for clues.

*****
“We’re following leads in Orlando, we’re trying to find her last location,” the girl’s father, Gordon Terrelonge, told NBC6 via Zoom on Wednesday.

He spoke while a Margate Police detective sat next to him..........

“I have hope, I have more hope today than I did last time we spoke, and last time we spoke, I was, desperation, feeling like the worst, but there’s a lot more hope today,” Terrelonge said. “Because some of the information we got is good and it should lead us to something, to some type of information or clues to know what really happened, or where she is, her location, whereabouts.”

*****

*****
Terrelonge said that while he'd been looking for his daughter for months, he had a court order to stay away from her. He said he had to leave them or jeopardize going to jail. In the past, Gabrielle would always find him, he said.

"Please, I beg, I'm begging from the bottom of my heart. I just want to find my daughter. I want her to come home," Terrelonge said.
