I can imagine that this couple had a violent argument that night... and maybe they went to sleep but then had another fight... it could have been with punches and he got carried away... probably drugged or drunk... the children didn't hear anything? a noise or something? he probably took her out of the trailer quickly and left her not too far away so as not to raise suspicions... although later he could have removed the body and left it in some forest or body of water... drugs destroying lives and families again...
