FL FL - Ian Rogers, 39, driving, Crawfordville, Wakulla County, 26 Aug 2024 *do not approach*

  • #41
At noon on the day Rogers disappeared, his vehicle was seen on surveillance cameras near Tom Brown Park in Tallahassee, Florida, but it wasn't clear who was driving. The park is about twenty miles north of Crawfordville. The pickup truck has not been seen since and has never been recovered.

In November 2025, Rogers's truck was found abandoned in a remote wooded area off Old Plank Road south of Tram Road in Leon County, Florida. It appeared to have been there for some time.

Rogers's family doesn't believe he left of his own accord. He had recently gotten a promotion at work, and he went missing the day before his son's birthday, something his loved ones said he had planned for and wouldn't have wanted to miss. His case remains unsolved.

At first, I thought he was running away or something. Now I believe there must have been foul play. But who had reason to harm him? Did he get involved in something that seemed innocuous initially, then it turned into more? It sounds like he had a good life, no reason to walk away.

Details of Disappearance

Rogers was last seen at his mother's house in Crawfordville, Florida on August 26, 2024. He said he was on his way to work that morning, but he never arrived and has never been heard from again. He was driving a white 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck with metal step sides and the Florida license plate number RSKU57; a photo of the truck is posted with this case summary. It was a work vehicle he'd gotten just a few days earlier.

Interview with Ian's boss

'Rogers was supposed to go to a job site on Woodgate Way in Tallahassee, according to Webster. The truck, however, was last spotted on the corner of Apalachee Parkway and Connor Boulevard, until it was found off of Old Plank Road just south of Tram Road.

"I don't know why he would have went that way. If he was going to just go home, he should just drive around Capitol Circle and then turn on Woodville Highway or Crawfordville Highway and drive home," said Webster. "Driving further out the parkway to hit Chaires Cross Road and then cross all the way over Tram to Old Plank is just, you know, added 15-20 minutes to the drive."

Webster was the one who went to Rogers mom's house that day to see where Rogers was. He says Rogers not showing up to work was out of character, and he wanted to know if something had happened.'
