Sherre Hines Peters gave various reasons to her kids and friends who asked where her husband James Peters was. The VA Hospital, fishing and working in the yard she said.

Truth was James Peters body lay in their home while Sheree proceeded with her life of crack.

Sheree Peters was expected to go on trial next week in the killing of 62-year-old James Dennis Peters.

Instead of putting her fate in the hands of a jury, the 57-year-old woman pleaded no contest to charges of manslaughter in her husband's death, tampering with physical evidence for getting rid of the handgun, and possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Sentenced to 30 years for manslaughter plus five for obstructing an investigation, according to Florida DOC:
