DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Delray Beach Police Department is looking for a local actress from South Florida after she went missing on Wednesday morning.

Officers say 35-year-old Jenna Jowers was last seen by her grandmother at the Target on Linton Boulevard near I-95 at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police say Jowers left the area alone.

Jowers was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a dark hoodie, marlins hat and sunglasses. She is 5’8”, approximately 120 lbs., with brown eyes and currently has bleached blonde hair. Police say she also has a tattoo of a cross on her right wrist.

Jowers is an actress, starring in a handful of small movies. Her stage name is Jamie Noel.

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — An actress from South Florida who was reported missing on Wednesday said the missing person reports were falsely filed by someone using her identity.

The Delray Beach Police Department had announced it was searching for 35-year-old Jenna Jowers, known professionally as Jamie Noel, after she was reported missing. The report said she had left the Target on Linton Boulevard at about 11:30 Wednesday morning.

Since then, Jowers posted a story on Instagram saying the reports were false, and to "let my attorney take care of it."

Wow, I am a bit confused. How does one go about using someones identity to report that same someone missing? I would have thought the grandmother/family would have reported her missing. Not sure what to think about this. IMO
