Police said that around 11:45 p.m. officers responded to a possible child abduction at the complex.

Investigators believe Diaz and an unknown male kicked open the door and took the boy at gunpoint. The child's stepmother was in the apartment at the time. The child's father was not home.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Wednesday morning that Diaz and the boy could be traveling with another woman, 23-year-old Angelica Melendez.

The could be traveling in a 2015, silver Lexus Rx350, Florida tag number IVTJ11. They also could be with a man, officials said.

Police said Jenzell Clinton Perez was taken by his biological mother, Sugey Perez Diaz, from their apartment at the Metro at Michigan Park Condos on Conway Road in Orlando.

Perez weighs about 45 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing just a diaper.

Diaz is 33 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing dark clothing
