This is what I suspect. They were older children (not infants) adoptions. Often stipends are offered to people who adopt older children because they are hard to adopt out. I suspect these people were probably getting approx $400.00.mo. for each child.

And no once the adoption is complete there is no follow up from the adoption agency.

John dollar received 15 years in prison. 5 counts of aggravated child abuse. Sentence is concurrent b/c each count had 15 years. His release date is 03/2018.

Linda Dollar received the same sentence except for some reason her release date is 02/2018.

5 counts??? after all that I just read happened in 05 only 5 counts? This is disgusting.

I hope these children, some of whom are young adults now, are doing all right.

5 counts is a lot. Each count had a sentence of 15 years. The issue is that their sentence was to be served concurrently, which is all in one go. If the sentence was consecutively, then the first 15 would be for Tommy, 2nd 15 for Jimmy, etc with a total of 75 years.

I am of the opinion that the 'concurrent sentence' be wiped from existence.
