POLICE MATCH NAME WITH BODY FOUND IN CAR TRUNK

On September 19, 1992, the partially decomposed body of Joseph David Stout of Winter Garden, Florida was found in the trunk of his vehicle. The vehicle was a blue Mercedes and parked at the Altamonte Mall. Mr. Stout was shot in the head. The body was in a state of advanced decomposition indicating death occurred days prior to discovery of the body. This crime probably did not occur at the Altamonte Mall.

• Police are looking for people who may have seen someone driving the dark blue car, believed to be a 1972 model.

. Altamonte Mall is a good little distance north east of Winter Garden. It makes me wonder if the killer could have ties to the north Orlando area, or it was just used as a random dumping area. The mall is very large. At the time of its construction it was the largest mall in the SE US.
