Kevin McLeod, 54, was reported missing Sunday. The last time witnesses reported seeing McLeod was Saturday. They told a deputy McLeod was paid to drive to Dothan, where he was last seen.

Troopers say McLeod's vehicle was found at the rest stop and towed Wednesday. They say McLeod's service dog was also found at the rest stop and picked up by a person and taken to Louisiana. When the person had the dog's chip checked, it showed it was owned by McLeod.
