I suspect that this person may be trans* or otherwise gender non-conforming, so I submitted their info to the Trans Doe Task Force. Interesting that the investigating agency is the Miami PD.

Hmmm, Monroe County and Dade County collaboration. There must be some clue to link the two counties at the time unless it simply the Medical Examiner’s location.

Sugarloaf Key is part of the very lower keys about 20 minutes north of Key West and 3 hours south of Miami. I wonder if he was found on the Atlantic side or the Gulf side. Lots of coves but little access. No known hurricanes that early in the season.

I wonder if there are any dental clues such un-erupted or missing wisdom teeth. Do they think this was a homicide?

I haven't been able to find any more info about this case. I wish LE listed what clothes they were wearing with more specificity than 'female clothing'.

I believe this Doe was initially thought to be a female. Someone claimed to have seen "her" being buried in October. The "girl" may have lived in North Miami. This would explain the two counties working the case.

ETA: Or this case could be unrelated to our JD and the date of body found, location, physical description and the involvement of the two agencies are just coincidences. What do you think @PayrollNerd and @victoriarobinson642?
I'm convinced it's the same Doe... and police was misled by the "female clothing". MOO JMO

Is there another news article revising the gender? The autopsy would indicate genetic gender and LE would have been notified.

I can't find a follow up on that news article. I'll keep trying... There has to be one, somewhere.
