A man from Labelle was sentenced to 45 years in prison Tuesday, Aug. 22, for molesting a child.
41-year-old Charles Nelson Barber Jr. was arrested on April 14, 2022, after he was found guilty of molesting a girl in North Fort Myers.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), Barber picked up the girl while walking along a North Fort Myers road. He drove her to a home where he sexually assaulted her.
