I hope they identify him quickly for his families sake. Lakeland is my hometown and gators are known to frequent the lakes.

Lakeland police said Richard Zachary Taylor, 72, was the man whose body was pulled from Lake Hunter Tuesday after a 911 caller reported seeing an alligator with a body in its mouth.

I could never live in Florida. It is not likely that I ever will, being that I am from across the country. I have frequent bad dreams involving alligators.

I'm glad they were able to identify him. Also, wonder how they know they got the right gator? I would imagine there is more than one in that lake.
