Miami-Dade homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found Friday at a Public Storage facility in Cutler Bay...

Police said the body was determined to be that of the business' manager, Laura Cuni, 54, who was found dead in a back office...

The Public Storage facility closed at 6 p.m. Thursday and Cuni never returned home.

The body of longtime employee Laura Cuni, 54, was discovered early Friday inside the Public Storage facility, 10505 Marlin Rd.

She was found bound to a chair inside a rear office.

While working at the Public Storage in Cutler Bay, Laura Cuni was held hostage and beaten to death, with her body was found hours later in the office closet.

No one was arrested for the crime, and Cuni’s family is still fighting for justice. Sanchez’s mother recently made a televised plea to the community asking for any witnesses to come forward.
