"I've seen what looked like a turtle hole and I started looking," the teen said. "And it looked like deer hair."
The remains, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, were found in the 23000 block of Avenue D.
The area where the grave was found is in the woods adjacent to a church called New Hope Faith Temple of Jesus Christ: The New World.
Deputies also roped off a jumble of untidy trees across the street from the church where a dark red-and-silver bike could be seen.
Crime scene investigators were scouring the ground behind the building where there is an open field that leads to an area with heavy vegetation.
He said he started looking around and saw women's clothes, including a bra and ribbon, and hair. That scared him and his friends so they ran, he said.

"I started looking around, and I seen clothing, and I seen a bunch of hair," he said, adding that the remains were partially buried in the ground.
"I seen what looked like almost an animal hand but then I realized it was human remains. And I lost it."
He and his friend alerted adults, who then called deputies.
The sheriff's office hasn't released any information on the body, including the identity or manner of death.
