Citrus County Sheriff Searching For Missing 62-Year-Old Woman

Was Lori visiting someone in FL and did not arrive home to NY? Or was she coming to visit someone and did not show up?

Not much information to go on here. This MSM link doesn't mention if she lives in NY state (presumably, based on the license plate) or FL. A quick search on the whitepages.com website lists several LORI J PARKERs living in NY state.

I don't see anything online about her car being found...... probably water involved sadly. I wonder where they captured that photo of the car.

IMO, she and her car are in the water somewhere. Crystal River is on a bay, and there are ponds and retaining pools everywhere.

I called CCSO and this case has been closed.

Can you please define what “closed” means in this context? Does that indicate she’s been in contact with LE and is no longer missing?

I called CCSO and asked to speak with the investigator on this case. The CCSO "operator" looked up the case in order to connect me and said the case had been closed.
