Melbourne man charged with three counts of attempted murder in New Year's Day shooting

A Florida man has been arrested on attempted felony murder charges after he allegedly shot his wife and her parents on New Year's Day after he found what was believed to be an intimate video of his wife and his best friend together.

Police said the holiday shooting happened shortly before 5pm at a family home in Melbourne.

William Brian Stillwell, 39, allegedly shot his wife, Mona Stillwell, her mother and her father in the legs and hips after he found cellphone video that apparently showed his wife cheating on him with one of his friends.

Police: Man shoots 3 at Melbourne home

WILLIAM BRIAN STILLWELL

How do you really comment on a situation like this. After reading the article, it looked like a storm was brewing in this man a week after learning his wife was unfaithful. I can't imagine the horror of his kids or her parents that were just doing what any parents would do and house their child when they are in a domestic dispute. Desperate people do desperate things. The whole show Snapped is built on similar preferences. Hopefully everyone involved can get consoling and move on in their life.. I can't imagine my 5 year old having to react to this...

Dailymail is disgusting,do they really need to have the childrens's conversation posted? Now it is there for them to relive over and over.

Weird thing about “Snapped” is almost 100% of the cases they show are premeditated and nearly always for money. While it sounds like this guy actually did “snap”...

Cheating is wrong, but if it wasnt that, I feel he would have done this because of something else eventually. Bad bad man
