After jumping in the water to relieve himself, throwing his sandal at his son, and consuming at least seven alcoholic drinks while boating, a Boynton Beach father got himself arrested on Mother's Day.
Boersma's son told police he saw his dad drink seven beers while on the boat ride, and some mixed drinks at Old Key Lime House in Lantana. The 9-year-old said Boersma's wife showed up and slapped him after they got into a fight.
Boersma got angry with his son, punched him and pulled his hair. Then he took his sandal off and threw it at the boy, the report says
