Long Island native Roger Borkum, 64, was found “severely beaten” just before midnight on Oct. 19 in Downtown Jacksonville, FL., after three teens were seen “kicking and stomping” him, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

This poor man had nothing to steal which is why they must have returned to injure him again. He probably lost so many friends in 9/11 and then his wife years later. I bet the overwhelming heartbreak led to him being homeless. JMO

His wife, Celeste Borkum, was killed in a humanitarian visit to Africa in 2009.

Somehow it makes this so much worse that he escaped the 911 attacks and then lost his wife on a humanitarian mission. To go through all that just to become homeless and be beaten to death by three 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Glad they got the suspects.

MOO.
