NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are investigating after a body was found burning on the side of the road in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Both the Miami-Dade Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the gruesome discovery, near Northwest 12th Avenue and 142nd Street, just after 8 p.m., Wednesday.

According to investigators, the body was burned so badly, that it was still smoldering from the blaze upon their arrival.

The age and gender of the person remains unknown, but police said the body appears to be that of an adult.

The body was discovered on the ground near NW 12th Avenue and NW 142nd Street in the Hyde Park Manor neighborhood near North Miami Wednesday evening.

Miami-Dade Police said the body appears to be that of an adult but they’re still trying to determine other characteristics like race and gender.

A burning body was discovered on the side of a Northwest Miami-Dade street Wednesday night, not far from a cemetery, according to police.
The body was discovered at about 8 p.m. at Northwest 12th Avenue and 142nd Street, near Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery.

A passerby spotted the body of a black female on fire and called police, according to a law enforcement source. There was nothing near the body, such as gasoline, to suggest a suicide, the source added.

Police are investigating after authorities found a burned body Wednesday in northwest Miami-Dade County.

A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said paramedics were called to Northwest 142nd Street and Northwest 12th Avenue around 8 p.m. after receiving reports about a body on fire.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Detectives are investigating, police said.
The intersection where the body was found is just outside the Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery.
A neighbor said the area is a prime spot for dumping. He said he has even seen dead animals dumped.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Less than 36 hours after a burned body was discovered in Northwest Miami-Dade, Miami-Dade Police were called to a nearby home where blood was discovered.

It is not known if the incidents are connected but crime scene investigators, detectives and officers all converged on the bloody home at 778 N.W.146th Street and sealed off the neighborhood with yellow crime scene tape after they received a call at 7:37 a.m.

“Someone called in a complaint about blood in the home. We are not sure who that person is. That’s when we went to the home. We can’t confirm that it is connected to the burned body at this point,” Miami-Dade police detective Argemis Colome told CBS4’s Peter D’Oench.
Miami-Dade police were called to the Hyde Park Manors neighborhood near North Miami just after 8 p.m. Wednesday when a burned body was found on a swale in an unlit section of the neighborhood.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - Two dogs were found dead Friday afternoon after a man barricaded himself inside a home in southwest Miami-Dade, authorities said.

Miami-Dade police responded to the home in the area of Southwest 216th Street and 120th Avenue after someone called police at 11:30 a.m. and asked officers to conduct a welfare check.

Police said a man came to the front door and cursed at and threatened to shoot an officer.
The Miami-Dade Police Department's SWAT team then responded to the home.
Police said the suspect came out of the house at 4:15 p.m. and surrendered to authorities.
Officers said they found two dead dogs inside the home.
The suspect, identified only as a man in his 60s, was arrested.

What on earth is going on in Miami-Dade, Literally could barely find any info on this case as there is so many cases of burning bodies there!!
