Circumstances of Discovery
The victim was located at the Congress Pool Hall at 12350 NE 16th Avenue. He is believed to be James "Judge" Malone, but this has not been confirmed.

I can't take credit for this theory but, assuming this man may have been a war veteran, some people on other sites are speculating today if he is J.M. Malone from the 89th Infantry Division of World War II.

According to records, this J.M. Malone was a Private First Class with the 353rd Infantry, which was originally organized with men from Kansas.

My mom remembers that when her dad served in the Korean War (1950–1953), his first initial, last name, and infantry division were sewn into the pocket of his pants and also onto his shirt.

Was this also done in the two World Wars? Given the man's wide age range, he could've served in either World War.
