It was just found near the body. Either it was just near him by coincidence, or he was wearing it under his chin and it came off.

NAMUS never states that his death was a homicide. It may have been natural causes, other illness, or an accident.

I would bet that the shirt he was found in was this one, which was manufactured out of Honduras and from a brand called Delta Apparel, which is a wholesale blank T-shirt manufacturing company with distribution centers in the US and Puerto Rico.
