Is the car missing too? Lots of people driving into retention ponds and not found until decades later.

It isn't clear from the minimal detail in the Namus file.

Charley Project states the vehicle was found in a rec area and they theorized she walked into the ocean.

Keep in mind I’ve lived near the ocean almost all my life. It’s hard for me to believe people would walk into an ocean to commit suicide. I would think human instinct / panic would cause them try to swim, return to shore, float, etc.

I guess she could have been under the influence of medication and her senses were dulled. Thereby drowning quietly without anyone noticing.

But I’ve also heard of people going to the beach, appear to go swimming, and then get out of the water further away, and walk away from their life. I wonder what was going on in her personal life, that made her believe this was the right choice for her, and any family she may have had. Any children? Any DV? Any scary stuff going on?
