According to the report, investigators say the boy -- identified as Jakaiden Smith -- suffered from malnourishment and dehydration at the time of his death.

Jalynda Smith, 36, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with aggravated negligent manslaughter. Deputies pulled her 5-year-old son's body from the Perdido Bay off Lillian Highway earlier Friday morning. The body was inside a trash bag.
