Three men were sentenced to life in prison Friday for the 2013 murder of Nicholas Walker, a Fort Lauderdale Waffle House customer who picked an early morning fight with the wrong man...

As Walker left the restaurant, the phone owned by Simon's girlfriend accidentally reconnected to 911, and 911 operators heard Simon talking to friends about his intent to follow Walker and kill him.

Prosecutors said it was Simon's friends, Michael Depre, 27, and Ronel Desinor, 29, who made good on the threat, with Desinor as the gunman and Depre as the driver. All three were found guilty on July 1.
