Human skeletal remains were discovered by pedestrian passersby in a wooded lot, behind business property of "O'reilly Auto Parts"; Approx. 120 feet North of 235 Malabar Road NW, Palm Bay, FL. The bones were scattered about several feet apart, likely due to animal activity. Notable "adult" bones recovered: Intact skull, mandible, 2-3 teeth, several ribs, several long bones, metatarsal bones, pelvic, & scapula bones. Misc. items recovered: White metal necklace with "cross" charm, white metal "skull" ring, light colored shirt, black shorts, & size "12" green/black shoe. Additionally, patches of hair recovered, appeared to be mixture of brown/grey in color. A surgical plate with 4 screws were noted on the mandible just below the left mental foramen region.
