Watching the last trial’s chats made me sick about how many don’t care about truth or justice.

Undercover detective on the stand testifying in #YNWMelly hearing. This is the same detective that testified with a mask on during Melly's trial until the defense objected and the judge ordered he take it off, however we are not to show him on camera. He works undercover in gangs/organized crime and has received death threats.

In what trial has a media interview of a potential witness ever been admitted as evidence?? This defense is running wild at this point. They got Bradley kicked off, got impeachment evidence against the lead detective, and now they’re just running loose it seems. The judge seems so over it! I can’t keep up with these hearings cause the audio sucks!

#YNWMellyTrial2: A @YNWMelly motion hearing is set for Friday, January 26, with Judge Murphy III presiding that will address all pending motions — according to a notice filed on Saturday, January 20, with Broward Clerk.

#YNWMellyTrial2: A Defense Motion To Terminate Probation was filed by attorney Christopher T. Beers on behalf of state’s witness Felicia Holmes on Monday, January 22, with Broward Clerk. In the motion, Ms. Holmes respectfully requests the court to determine her status as a witness and order that her electronic monitor be removed.Holmes has been on an ankle monitor since 12/3/2022. The prosecution recently listed her as “unavailable;” therefore, the motion claims if Ms. Holmes's is not required to testify at the retrial of this cause, there is no reason to further encumber her freedom with an ankle monitor.

YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, is scheduled to be tried for double murder for a second time in September of this year in Broward County. His attorneys want him released from jail until that trial begins.
