A Delray Beach man is facing criminal charges after his 4-year-old daughter alleged he performed sex acts on her while she visited his apartment on weekends.

Following a recorded conversation about the allegations with his wife, Richard Cosimano, 42, stands charged with sexual assault, lewd and lascivious behavior and incest.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, suspicions about Cosimano's behavior began when his daughter turned to her mother while watching television Dec. 12 and made a disturbing statement:

Now I'm depressed for Lord's sake. He's full of s**t. Oh and he was seeking "in patient" care? How was he able to get his visitation if he was in a mental health hospital?
