2-22-2014 Adam Frasch was seen leaving the home (4,749 sq. ft., half-million dollar home in the 8300 block of Inverness Drive) with the couple’s children at around 8:30 a.m. His wife, model Samira Frasch, was found dead in the home’s pool by a maintenance man at around 11:00 a.m. The Fraschs were involved in a bitter divorce.

Samira Frasch, 38, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery on Aug. 31, 2013. The day before, Adam Frasch filed a stalking injunction against another woman and a domestic violence injunction against his wife. according to court records.

Frasch filed for divorce in September 2013. Adam Frasch filed another domestic violence injunction against his wife on Oct. 3, according to court records.

The children (Skynaah, a 10-month old baby girl, and 2-year-old Hyra) were located with 46 year old Adam in Bay County, Florida Saturday night. The Missing Children’s Alert was cancelled. Frasch was taken into custody on 2 counts of Interference with Child Custody.

Frasch, a medical doctor, was arrested in December of 2008 on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting an officer without violence, according to court records. He was also arrested in August of 2006 on a charge of public affray.

Results of an autopsy performed Sunday are not yet public.

The wife had been awarded exclusive rights to the house. This is an upscale, gated community and there will be records of Dr Frasch entering and exiting.

Sources close to the investigation allege that Samira Frasch had become increasingly concerned about her safety in the weeks leading up to her death and the arrest this morning of husband Adam Frasch.According to information IndyPosted has received regarding Samira Frasch’s alleged pleas for assistance, it appears that none were heeded prior to yesterday’s tragic discovery. It is not immediately clear why Mrs. Frasch reportedly feared for her life, or if any steps were taken by law enforcement officers to address her alleged concerns in the days and weeks leading up to her death.

Wow. Unlucky guy.

In the space of two days Aug 30/31, he was the subject of domestic violence from his former wife and by Samira, and stalked by another, according to the injunctions he filed. Unless they were incidents he alleges happened before that of course.

Still strange to have all that court activity at once though.

Update: 11:23 a.m.

Adam Frasch remains in the Bay County Jail, held without bond on third degree felony child custody interference charges.

Legal watchers say it is odd for someone to be held without on bond on those charges, and may indicate the Thomasville podiatrist is being considered a person of interest in the death of his estranged wife, former French model Samira Frasch, who was found dead Saturday in the pool of her Golden Eagle home.

“I’ve never seen anyone held in a third-degree felony without bond, ever,” said Tallahassee defense lawyer Chuck Hobbs.

Although he hasn't been charged with his wife's death, Chief Assistant State Attorney Georgia Cappleman has said that Frasch is a suspect in his wife's murder.

Friday's competency hearing was related to his child custody charges. It showed that Frasch is able to proceed in all aspects of the case, according to the state attorney's office.

Dr. Adam Frasch may be released from jail after eight months if a Leon circuit judge agrees Thursday with the podiatrist’s defense attorney that charges he interfered with child custody orders should be dropped.

Circuit Judge Kevin Carroll is expected to consider Frasch’s motion to dismiss at an 11:30 a.m. hearing.

But, if it is granted, Frasch’s freedom may be short-lived. Chief Assistant State Attorney Georgia Cappleman has said a Leon County grand jury will consider next week a first-degree murder indictment against Frasch for the killing of his wife.

Dr. Adam Frasch will be released this afternoon from the Leon County jail after accepting a plea deal offered by state prosecutors...

Frasch will be able to return home and to his Thomasville, Ga. podiatry practice, which is being investigated by federal authorities for Medicare fraud.
