Shirlene Doneta Roberts was reported missing on Sept. 23. Her family said they last saw her Sept. 11, between 4 and 5 p.m.

They told police that this is out of character for Roberts.

Police said they believe Roberts is endangered and may be a victim of foul play.

I am wondering if LE have linked Andrelo Witcher to this case. He is already a strong POI in the disappearances of Heather MacCrossen and Kamrie Mitchell cases. However, a newspaper report in October 2015 suggested he had been linked to other cases, see http://www.wcjb.com/local-news/2015/10/3-years-later-one-man-remains-suspect.

Witcher was released from prison 3 months before this disappearance and lived in Jacksonville. Whilst this may be coincidence and this may not be a linked case, it does seem to be one of the more likely cases for LE to have linked looking at location, age of victim and date (Witcher was in and out of prison so has an unbreakable alibi in some cases). Unfortunately LE have made this interesting statement suggesting he is implicated in multiple cases without saying which other cases are involved.

I have looked a bit closer at this case and a potential link with Andrelo Witcher. It appears that Witcher's address in Jacksonville, 100 54th Jacksonville 32208 is less than 1 km from Notter Avenue, home of Shirlene Roberts. Another factor which could link them is a common history of drug involvement (although this is just a minor supporting factor since there would be plenty of others with a similar background). He would certainly be well up my list of POIs for this case.

Details of Disappearance​

Roberts was last seen after leaving her home in the 4500 block of Notter Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida. Her aunt scolded her because she had been smoking marijuana, and Roberts left the house angrily between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. on September 11, 2009. An unknown male pulled her into a vehicle and she has never been heard from again.

Roberts has been known to frequent the 2800 block of Pearl Street. She worked as a dancer at The Pony, a bikini club on McDuff Avenue, and the last time she was seen there, she left with a patron who had a reputation for carrying guns and selling drugs. She also has a history of prostitution-related arrests.

It's out of character for her to leave without warning and she is considered to be in danger. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Only 4'11" and 100 pounds....she was such a slip of a thing when she went missing.

15 years since Shirlene went missing. It's such a shame that there has been no progress in this case.
