FL - St. Pete man plotted to kidnap, sexually assault, & murder child, police say

Very disturbing, and there is another accomplice suspect not being named in another state.
A St. Petersburg man was arrested by SWAT team officers Friday morning during an investigation into a murder plot, police said.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Jason Foley, 47, has been accused of plotting to kidnap, sexually assault, and murder a child who lived outside of Florida.

The agency said investigators from an out-of-state law enforcement agency contacted officers and told them Foley was connected to their active case

Authorities have not released further details about the out-of-state investigation.
