I don't recall reading the above info before. Did we already know she was having an affair?
I didn't start tracking this case until a few months ago. I am not aware of any previous reporting of an affair.
This news article includes a quote by Brandon Beatty, per trial testimony
yesterday 8/27:
'She's gone': Testimony in murder case walks jury through day PI went missing
Tuesday, August 27th 2019
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — Powerful testimony was heard Tuesday in a case prosecutors are calling murder for money.

The jury also heard the testimony from McArthur’s former boyfriend and friends who say McArthur made some comments about her.

"She [McArthur] told me they'll never find that b****, she's gone,” said McArthur’s former boyfriend, Brandon Beatty.

I have followed this case from the beginning.
I do not recall allegations of McArthur having a boyfriend.
She had only been married to her current husband about 4 years at that time.
More specifically, I don't think it was common knowledge that she purchased a $30K boat, $8K motorcycle, and helped finance this "friend's" bar business in the months before and after Taylor's disappearance.
McArthur also gave this friend many guns over the time of the the affair. He testified that he would sell these guns via gun forums.
I'm thinking today's questioning will tell us some of those guns belonged to Taylor.
Its also been said during trial yesterday that her husband had become aware of the affair, but it still continued.
All this is MOO.

#McArthurTrial - The defense is arguing that the bullet found lodged in Taylor Wright's skull cannot be matched to a firearm found. They want that testimony kept out by the state's ballistics expert. The state says they will testify it's "consistent with" that firearm

It’s Day 3 of the State’s case in chief in #FLvMcArthur. Yesterday-Day 2-the Jury heard from the victim’s girlfriend, & the defendant’s husband, boyfriend, 3 friends, and even started hearing from McArthur herself.

FL v. MCARTHUR DAY 3: The prosecution continues its case against #AshleyMcArthur. More of the defendant's police interview will be played in court today. What will it reveal?

This judge is very personable, but am I the only one a bit bothered about the parties being rushed, due to the Holiday Weekend? Streamlining the evidence just doesn't seem like a good thing, IMO.
Grrrrr. . . more discussion this morning about finishing the trial by Friday:

#McArthurTrial - Judge Shackelford wants the state to "streamline" their case. She's insisting the trial be finished by Friday. She made it clear yesterday that she would be very unhappy if this case isn't wrapped by Friday. https://lawandcrime.com/live-trials/live-trials-current/ashley-mcarthur-live-trials-current/watch-live-ashley-mcarthur-on-trial-for-allegedly-murdering-p-i-who-trusted-her/ …

Wouldn't that rush from the judge perhaps be grounds for an appeal or whatever one day?
Anyway, I liked the commentary from the gal on Court TV as they went into break, "We're watching Ashley talk her way into a prison cell." No kidding, right?
And her trashing of Taylor the VICTIM is sure to not sit well with the jury, IMO.
