On Saturday night, Alexander Warren Hernandez, who was known to the victim, reportedly arrived unannounced and “banged” on the door; the juvenile victim, Connor Michael Gill, went to unlock the door when Hernandez gained entry into the home and stabbed him, threatening a third victim, according to the sheriff's office.

According to the SCSO press release, the adult victim came to inspect what was going on and was also stabbed by the suspect. Both victims were rendered aid by emergency medical services at the scene and later airlifted to area hospitals, where the teen victim died. Gill was 14.

16-year-old boy accused of killing teen, injuring adult in stabbing, Sumter County deputies say

Sumter County deputies took a 16-year-old into custody who’s accused of killing a teen and injuring an adult in a stabbing late Saturday near Wildwood, according to the sheriff’s office.
