:banghead: These punks have now been empowered by the court system and probably laughed all the way home. This is just one reason that this continues to happen more and more frequently. Why didn't the judge just hand out awards for the most punches???????

Does probation include any sort of rehabilitative services? Like the equivalent of making adults go to anger management classes or drug treatment classes, there should be some sort of therapy (maybe group classes held at whatever school they are allowed to enroll in, for transportation's sake) for kids like these, if there's not.

I want to know what the school district plans on doing with them- if they expell them from the buses or the district, their parents will be responsible for transportation at minimum.

If they are expelled from the district, their parents will have to find a district to accept them.

I am pretty sure the victim's parents will sue and prevail.

they (each of them) have to write letter of appology to the boy they assaulted ...

Suspects in Gulfport school bus beating plead guilty, get probation

CLEARWATER — There was a Jeykll and Hyde quality to Thursday’s court proceedings, where three 15-year-old boys pleaded guilty to beating a 13-year-old student on a school bus last month.

The boys appeared remorseful and respectful, their heads sometimes bowed.

It was all “Yes, sir” and “No, sir,” sometimes in unison, as Circuit Judge Raymond Gross painstakingly asked them a series of questions after their attorneys announced the trio would be pleading guilty in the July 10 beating.

But then Assistant State Attorney William Schopper asked that the video of the attack — the one that’s gone viral and turned the Gulfport school bus assault attack into a national story — be shown before Gross decided on a punishment.

They were talking about this case on CNN / HLN ....

Prosecutor(s) agreed that putting the offenders in juvie .. or jail .. would do more harm than good ...

three offenders said .. they did it cuz they were angry at 13-year-old for falsely telling on them that they sold drugs ...

which, according to them, is not true .. they said they didn't sell drugs etc...

so they were angry about that .. etc ...
