Details of Disappearance

Lamb left his mother's home in 2003 and stayed with various friends after that. His family relationships were strained, with little communication between the relatives. The last confirmed contact he had with a relative was in 2004.

Lamb's family tried to find him in 2016, but came to realize no one had seen or heard from him in over a decade. Police were able to trace him to an address off State Road 97 in Molino, Florida in June 2005; this is the last sign of him.

Lamb, who attended Tate High School, cannot drive and has never held a job. It's possible he's still in the Molino area. His case remains unsolved.

Missing Molino man last seen in 2005 now presumed dead

A man who went missing from the Molino area more than a decade ago is now presumed deceased, but the investigation into his disappearance is still ongoing.
Timothy Allen Lamb, 47, was last seen in June 2005. He is legally blind and has a heart condition and developmental disabilities, Escambia County Sheriff's Officer investigator Michelle Wert said.
Lamb — whose family relationship was described as "strained" by authorities — left his mother's home in 2003, and he wound up in the care of various friends. His last known contact with family was in 2004, and by the middle of 2005, he had fallen completely off the public radar.
Lamb's disappearance wasn't reported until recently, after a family member tried to contact Lamb in 2016 and found no one had seen him in more than a decade.
Wert said a few factors led her to believe Lamb is now deceased.
One is that he required regular medical attention, and no area physicians have reported seeing or treating him in the time since his disappearance.
Perhaps a larger red flag is the fact that someone other than Lamb is believed to have used his identity after he went missing.

Wert said the Sheriff's Office has identified persons of interest in connection to the identity theft case, but the time frame for the state to bring fraud charges against them has already expired.
Still, Wert believes the case is far from resolved.

"Because of the suspicious circumstances, I'm treating it as I would a homicide," Wert said. "It's going to be a continuing investigation until I can put all the pieces together."
There is no statute of limitations on murder or certain other serious crimes.
Wert is asking that anyone with information about Lamb, his activities and associates contact Crime Stoppers at 850-433-STOP or the ECSO at 850-436-9620.
"I'll take any and all information they deem is important," Wert said.
