If toddlers are shooting their parents--even, maybe especially, by accident--surely some of our gun rights advocates can see why I am uneasy about parents carrying concealed weapons while they shop where I shop.

But isn't that the problem? I don't mean you should train your 3-year-old to use a gun, but that s/he might shoot someone accidentally while exploring the weapon.
