Similar to people who hoard belongings, some people hoard animals, the clinical term is animal hoarding disorder. Sadly, often a part of the disorder is not having the insight to know that you are causing harm. Many people who have this disorder will say that they love the animals. Often these people have good intentions but don’t have the capacity to actually care for the animals and it ends up in animal abuse like we see here. Terrible for these poor animals to end up like this.
