FL - Woman choked girl for blocking fireworks view at Disney World, 5 Apr 2017

When the display finally started, the girl and several of her friends stood up to better see. That’s when 41-year-old Tabbatha Mature, of Michigan, got frustrated and began choking her.

Mature grabbed her by the neck, squeezed and pushed her head to the ground. She then told the girl, “You don’t want to mess with me.”

The victim was able to run away and find an employee to report the alleged assault.

Mature is charged with child abuse.

The girl and other students from her high school were at the Magic Kingdom, and when the nightly fireworks display began, they stood up.

Mature’s family was behind them and insisted that they sit down.

Mature “became aggravated,” according to the report, and the girl and her friends decided to leave.

As she walked away, the girl said she told Mature, “You can take our spot.”

Mature’s response?

“She wrapped both hands around my neck and began squeezing,” the girl told a deputy.

When the student started screaming, Mature released her and said, “You don’t want to mess with me,” according to the girl.

I believe if it is a minor it's a child abuse charge, which will hold a higher degree punishment in the courts than an assault charge.

Walt Disney World guest Tabbatha Kaye Mature wasn’t acting in a very mature manner when she allegedly choked a teen who blocked her view of a fireworks display, according to cops in Florida.

Two things-
1. So far we seem to have heard only one side of the story.
2. The fireworks go way up in the sky so unless there was also a parade going on I don't see how her view was blocked. Imho
